I went last weekend with my sister and her friends to celebrate her birthday. It was the first time I’ve felt so comfortable in a restaurant in the Netherlands! The staff were very attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. They were super friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. There wasn’t much waiting time, and the atmosphere was very relaxed — even though the place was quite full. Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back. 100/10 — highly recommended! 👌
I recently visited Brasserie Quinty in Texel. While the atmosphere was pleasant and the main course was ok, I was disappointed by the overall service. There was a significant delay in the food delivery, and they deliberately missed our French fries with the main course. Moreover, even though we were three people, they only gave us two sets of cutlery and didn’t provide the missing fork and knife when requested. It felt like an intentional oversight, which took away from an otherwise good meal. I hope the service can improve in the future.
We were a group of four and all of us ordered the Bites Menu. Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour between courses one and two but the desert already came with my last bite of the second course. As other people already wrote, the service started well but gradually got worse. I really like the atmosphere and the design of the place and also the concept. The dishes look really nice and the food tastes good, too. I would like to come back for a second chance and hope to be able to give more stars then.
Slightly mixed experience. Some sspects were really nice, like the decor and general ambience, much better than most of the other restaurants in this area. Some of the dishes were really tasty (e.g. the lamb), while others were not well prepared (e.g. linguini were all stuck to each other). The staff was very nice and friendly, but failed to get some basic stuff right (e.g. bring all dishes at once and not in rounds). Overall, not a showstopper; it’s the type of place where you won’t have a bad time for sure, but you will still try lots of other restaurants in the area before repeating here
Quite a busy restaurant. A reservation might be needed. Food is ok. Not so special. I would give 4 stars but plus one with their entertainment to children. We were at the back area decorated like in Circus. A guy making nice balloons for kids. He’s really doing it tirelessly. Thanks man!
