Beachclub Texel

Sign outside said they are fully booked. Nearly 70% was unoccupied. Very bad, couldn't even get a drink.

We planned to go for a sunset at 20:45. I checked the hour before: open till 21. With enthusiasm we are there at 20:05 - then on the paper stays „today open till 20” :/ Really disappointing, at least update online would be appreciated.

We were quite excited to go to this new place. Unfortunately it is lacking atmosphere and food is quite mediocre Yakitori was dry, loaded fries overpriced for the small portion you get. Broodje kroket almost 10 euro??!! and nothing special.. salmon tataki tiny for the price. Much better places on Texel. Hope they’ll learn fast for else they’ll not make it..

Fresh produce, great quality, food, friendly service, and of course, the perfect view of the ocean make this place an institution on the island. Highly recommended, especially the Asian and Asian fusion dishes and the local Texel beer.

Ended up being much better than we expected. We went there in the middle of high season/summer, mainly because it was the only restaurant close by when on the beach. However, the place ended up exceeding our expectations. It’s more spacious than it looks, the outdoor area is nicel shaded, and the bathrooms were clean enough. The food actually surprised us the most. Dishes were larger than usual, and quite tasty. The sangria was unbelievably good too, very recommendable
