Strandpaviljoen Faro Beach

This is one of the most underwhelming beach pavilions I’ve experienced on Texel. There’s no real extra attention given to guests - the location itself is fantastic, but the venue feels like it lacks a heart. Plastic palms? It doesn’t seem to have been designed with much care or attention to detail. Some of the staff are fine, but others come across as slow and not particularly friendly. Prices in the hospitality area are also ridiculously high. It’s a shame, because this beach pavilion has a lot of potential.

Very nice experience, view and good quality food. Typical Dutch menu, so nothing too surprising, but above average quality.

Friendly staff. To make it 5 stars a bit less typical menu would nice. Location is superb. Nice portions of food not too small not too big. Berry sensation mocktail is very tasty.

Really great place to stop for drinks by the beach! The staff are friendly, helping if we needed any drinks or if everything was all okay. Super friendly chat with them asking where we visit from and some general chatting! The drinks were nice, we had beer and cocktail, no complaint as it was all good! The view was beautiful though! We did have a smaller dog, and they are god friendly. We managed to have a beautiful spot with a sofa next to the tower and viewing the beach. We didn’t have food but recommend to stop for the drinks.

Faro 2. There is no Faro 1, but they called it Faro 2 because the old Faro was a self service restaurant. Faro 2 I would highly recommend. Advised to book a table in advance when visiting with a big group. They were very helpful with giving us a table outdoors. Service is good and well organized. The beach view is great, this part of the island is very quiet.
