We had a wonderful experience with this bike shop. We arrived on Saturday morning just before 8:30 and they let us in early. We rented 2 ebikes and were on our way in less than 10 minutes. Also very fast to return. Bikes were easy to use and in great condition. Extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you!

I had a very unpleasant experience with this shop. We rented a tandem bike from the shop. A pedal of the bike fell off during the day. When we came back to the shop, no one in the shop said sorry once, or asked us whether the situation was safe while the pedal fell off on the way. Very disappointed about how they treated their customers.

We rented two e-bikes and spent the entire day cycling around the island. The bikes are of great quality, and even though the attendant didn’t give us much explanation about using the locker and charger, it wasn’t a problem (he might have assumed we already knew 😅). Keep in mind that you will need to make a deposit, which you’ll get back at the end of the day when you return the bike. I recommend the service at this place :)

2 shops. One for selling and 1 for renting bikes. Opening hours for rental shop not updated. Selling shop is opened but the team of the selling shop does not accept to rent bike. It happens that we see them rent a bike during closing hours to NL people. To avoid

We had an excellent experience with this bicycle rental company. We ran into problems of our own making getting to and from the light house and the staff was always helpful and easy to work with. We rented standard bikes but being from America and not used to lengthy bike rides we definitely wish we had chosen an electric option or even a scooter. The ride to the lighthouse took us more than twice as long as google maps suggested it would take. We certainly hope to return to the beautiful Texel again one day. When we do, we will rent electric bikes from Totaal and do it all again the right way!
