Traditional restaurant with mainly ingredients of the island, very friendly staff and they have a good selection of wine, which can all be ordered by the glass. The menu is relatively small, with a focus of local dishes, the servings are big, you will not leave this place hungry The look is a bit outdated and could use a refresher to make it a bit more modern / up to date

Cosey and very clean restaurant. We had fried fish "kibbeling". A large portion, home made and very good !My husband had bread with lambshoulder (local) that also was very tasty. I totally recommend this restaurant. Besides that a walk amongst the pretty center of this village is also recommendable!

#403DenHelder went cycling the island and stopped here for a quick coffee while sheltering fro m the Texel winds out on the coast. Menu was pricey so just stayed for a coffee.... #railthetrails

The restaurant is in a former cave and gives a special style, authentic. The lamb meat is perfectly cooked and they have different variety of lambs. We also took a local beef & a local beer. They greets the guests with a recipe of biterballen & bouillon with local lamb, which was perfect. Service was nice too & price (around 20€/main dish) is ok. 5 stars without any hesitation!
