Landal Kustpark Texel

Nice location! Playful way of placing the houses. Enough to do for kids. Upon arrival a bad coffeemaker and faulty heating, but the service was quick and very friendly!

Roompot Kustpark provides affordable vacation in Texel. Park is green and bungalows are divided in three categories. We chose the wooden chalet number 21 during our pinkster vacation in the Texel. Park offer various kinds friendly activities and accommodations. Their swimming pool is one of the best. Parking is always near the bungalows and some cases you can just park your car next to the bungalow. Service area offers a Starbucks self-service coffee machine a bar & restaurant and small grocery store. The location and the bungalows are excellent but the restaurant has to offer more variety in their cuisine. Pizzas are okay but can be boring thus I advise inhabitants to go de Koog centrum for more cuisine choices. The Pollo can be ideal choice for the people fond of chicken cuisine.

We are so disappointed about the system here. When we arrived and visited the reception, no one told us that we need to book the swimming pool in advance. We also did not receive any email or letter to send us information about how things work here; rules or regulations we need to be careful. That is why we thought we could come to swimming pool any time. The next day my children were very excited to come to the pool but they were not allowed to join because we had not booked yet in advance. But the most ridiculous thing was that I asked the reception that maybe someone would cancel or did not show up; then was it possible for my children to join if we were willing to wait and someone did not show up. The reception told us that they could not let us join, they have to reserve the place until the end. That is how the system works. What a ridiculous thing! So I told them that someone would reserve for their family and would not come; and they still block the chance of other people. How will the system work that way? Our family loves Texel, we will come back for sure but we will never stay again at this vacation park.

We had a great weekend with a big group of friends of >10 people. I actually live on the island (but far from de Koog) and while looking for accommodation for such a big group, this park really stands out in terms of pricing and facilities, and now I can say it exceed my expectations. The location is very good, just next to forest, beach and not far from the big supermarkets and MTB bike rental in de Koog. The chalets and bungalows were newly renovated and well-equipped, the furniture are of good quality. We enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, it's great to relax there after a day of activities outdoor (we went everyday during our stay; the pool entrance is free for park guests, sauna need to pay extra). The only drawback is that the pool closes at 18:00... a little too early. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This is the second time I am here, the first time I went here there weren't any issues, This time however.. Everything's filthy. - The shower walls are full of hard water spots. - The showerheads and dishwasher are full of mold. - And the dishwasher doesn't even work anymore after 1 use, after one use it started giving error codes etc. - The floors haven't been cleaned either. - There are cobwebs on a lot of ceiling's and lamps. + The bed is clean + The staff is friendly + Wifi (not the fastest but close enough) + Television + Swimming pool + The position of the park on the island
