Hotel & Bungalowpark Prins Hendrik

My spouse and I got very lucky when we found this hotel. We were in the Netherlands on our honeymoon and we wanted to visit the island and this popped up in our hotel search. The food in the restaurant is amazing, the location is rural and quiet, and the room and service could not be better. Highly recommend

All was amazing: place, crew, restaurant , design. Till the moment , when our breakfast was spoiled ..... With cutting the grass meanwhile the guest having their breakfast, smell gasoline, noise, instead of smell of croissants and coffee . On my claim, crew replied :"there is no perfect time to cut the grass " What a disappointment... Please select better time, to cut the damn grass. On booking I marked 10/10, and I hope won't regret about it

Great hotel in the north east part of Texel. Hotel rooms nicely decorated with pictures of birds. The restaurant inside the hotel is also reasonable, but you have to book a table because it is quite busy. Good parking for cars and bikes. There is also playground for kids.

A lovely hotel situated in a stunning location on Texel. Staff were welcoming on arrival and dog was greeted. The dog biscuits in the bedroom were a great touch. The room was nice and clean…..but the bathroom facilities didn’t work too well. Lack of power in the shower and draining of the water was slow too as the bath filled as we showered. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice! Had a great stay even with the bad shower.

The main hotel has been revamped since we last visited 4 years ago and looks great. The service remains exceptional from all staff. Although we didn’t stay in a hotel room, other family members did and were very happy. The bungalow we stayed in was ok. Reasonably comfortable living space. Modern kitchen. Nice outdoor space. The bad points are that the bathrooms and bedrooms could do with a refresh. For example none of the extractor fans were working.
