We had an extremely bad experience. The hot tub is refilled, but clearly not cleaned. Dirt was floating in the water and the interior was slimy. The terrace was chaotic, had been pooped on by seagulls, and was covered in algae. When we complained about this, we were told to just put up with it because there is a seagull colony nearby. According to the receptionist, the hot tub was clean. She did not come to check. Sitting outside in the sun was therefore not an option. The kitchen is equipped with the cheapest crockery imaginable. The handle of the frying pan broke off and there was no corkscrew. The cottages are very close together, resulting in little privacy. The park is also located close to the road. For a cottage in this price range, we find this scandalous. We shared this information in the review, but nothing was done about it.

We had a wonderful stay at this park. It's without a doubt the cleanest park we've ever been to! Everything was perfectly maintained, and you can really tell that a lot of care and attention is put into the grounds. The cottages are beautiful, modern, and comfortably furnished, which made our stay extra pleasant. The location is ideal, close to tourist attractions, supermarkets, shops, and everything you need. This made it very easy to get out and about with our family. The receptionist was friendly, helpful, and professional. We really appreciated being able to check in earlier than the official check-in time. Especially since we were traveling with our two children, that was a huge plus. The park is quite different from other parks we're used to. There was no entertainment team present during our stay, but there is a small area where children can draw and play. Our children had a great time there. We'd read that there is entertainment in the summer and fall, which certainly sounds nice. This park is perfect for those looking for peace and relaxation. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. At other (Europarcs) parks without a swimming pool, guests sometimes receive a free pass to a nearby pool, which would be a nice addition here as well. All in all, we had a very positive experience and would love to come back, perhaps during a season with entertainment so we can experience that too!

We stayed in the “Pavilion”, their smaller cabin with a party of 5 persons, 3 adults and two kids. We had a great time! Even though the cabin is next to a busier road, we heard nothing. They offer great services, like a bakery in the morning (you have to order the bread online) and bike rental. The location is excellent, everything is around 10 minutes (by car) away. The staff is really friendly and if you don’t make the check in time (because of the boat) they will call you, and inform you that the key is in the vault outside the reception. Most of the time we were out of the park doing activities outside. However if you want to stay on the park with the kids, there’s not that much entertainment for them, there is one small playground and a large trampoline.

Stayed here for a week with two kids (2 and 4) and had a good time. The chalet is modern and clean, and all kitchen necessities were there. Beds were a little too soft for me, but not bad. The location is nicely in the middle so everything on Texel is within a 10min drive range. The park itself is right next to a busy road but had no problem with the noise. For the kids there is a small slide and a large jumping pad which they loved. There is also a little 'game room' with a LEGO table, boardgames and puzzles, was nice to go there for an hour every now and then! The only thing I will say that was disappointing was the WiFi; it was not possible to stream anything to the TV due to poor network speed, and watching a video or browsing while on the wifi was far too slow, after a couple days I switched to the normal data connection. All in all a good stay!
