Lovely hotel. Great staff, great food, great location. Loved the woolbath and really enjoyed the spa.

I stayed on my own at Hotel Texel for several nights this past week for a much needed break. The hotel is extremely well appointed and comfortable. My room was huge and had everything I could possibly need. The spa facilities are extensive with treatment rooms, several different types of saunas, a steam room and a pool. I had several wonderful treatments (Meki is the massage queen) and also ate an absolutely delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant, Gusta. But in addition to the great facilities I must really compliment the staff who are ALL extremely courteous, professional and attentive. To whoever is managing this place: you have a great team!

If you’re looking for a place where you can truly feel remote and relaxed, this is it! The calming nature around the hotel together with the great food (made mostly with local products) are the highlights of this place. We even got a phone call a few hours upon our arrival with the question if we want to reserve a table at the restaurant for that evening. I thought that was very considerate. Service was excellent. Spa was clean and spacious, not many guests used it when we were there. Two points of improvement: mattresses were a bit on the firm side (but for some this might be a plus) and I’m not a big fan of the sliding doors for the bathroom.

My family and I stayed for almost a week and had a lovely stay. Our son (3.5 years) did not want to leave. The pool was lovely as well as the sauna and spa. Melissa gives a great classic massage. Gym is small but perfect. Breakfast was lovely with fresh squeeze orange juice. Not a lot of vegan options but upon asking I had the best oat meal of my life and daily vegan yogurt. Dinner wasn’t a lot of vegan options but the staff was able to accommodate ♥️ Location was perfect. Easy to bike everywhere. And my son loved he saw so many small airplanes and people jumping daily.
