Perfect base for a short island getawayThe hotel is an ideal starting point for a short stay to explore the island, but I would not recommend it for longer trips. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of variety. However, there is room for improvement. The room itself was outdated, needed renovation, and was not cleaned well. Communication during the booking process could also be better. Additionally, due to ongoing roadworks, the hotel parking was inaccessible. This should have been communicated to guests in advance.

This hotel desperately needs renovation (has anything been done to the hotel rooms here since the last century?)! Broken shower door, rusty heating, TV was a PC monitor without any functionality (it was still connected with a coaxial cable). Very noisy hotel room. The "orange juice" at breakfast was watered-down water with a slight flavor. The celebratory meal was a disgrace! Does this hotel have a chef? The starter was a piece of bread about 2 cm by 6 cm with a tiny slice of salmon, 1 mini lettuce leaf, and 5 pieces of fennel (worth about 50 euro cents). The main course consisted of 3 sticks (not skewers, but sticks used to hold together rolls of about 10-15 cm), a mini container of fries, and a mini container of atjar). I reported this to reception, and they dismissed it with "this is how we always do it," and my comment was brushed aside. Very unfriendly to customers. I'll share this experience via Google too. we had a room with an excellent walk-in shower for my husband. The room itself was also very roomy to get around the furniture. Excellent mattresses and extra pillows 👍 The location is close to the beach as well as close to the bus stop. The restaurant serves great breakfast choices and dinner is tops. The super tender duck breast was my favorite. Also, the girl at the check-in desk helped me find a doctor in such a kind and warm way. Highly recommended!

Great Experience – Excellent Location and Atmosphere Overall, the value for money at this hotel is 4.5 out of 5. The food was delicious, with a few minor suggestions. The burgers could use some improvement – the meat lacked flavor, the portion was a bit small, and the use of just ketchup overpowers the taste. A custom sauce would definitely enhance the experience. On the other hand, the beef steak was excellent, the soups were outstanding, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. In general, the food was of very high quality. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, which added to the pleasant experience. One thing that could be improved is the lack of air conditioning – especially in rooms located in the attic, which can get quite hot in the summer. The hotel itself isn’t the most modern, but it has a charming vintage atmosphere. The rooms are large and spacious, which is a big plus. The location is fantastic, very convenient and scenic. One issue worth mentioning is the poor signage for the hotel parking. When arriving from the seaside, there’s no visible information about the parking entrance. And when coming from the city side, the parking sign is on the opposite side of the road, often blocked by pedestrians. Better visibility and clearer directions would really help. Also, the parking lot could use more EV charging stations, as availability was limited. Despite a few small drawbacks, my overall impression is very positive, and I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Extremely Poor Sleep Experience — Would Not Recommend Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was marked by a series of issues that made it virtually impossible to get a good night’s sleep. I’m writing this review to help others make an informed decision. 1. Beds far too soft The mattresses were extremely soft and lacked any support, causing the body to sink into an unnatural position. For anyone who sleeps on their stomach or needs basic spinal support, this setup is very uncomfortable. 2. Severe noise disturbance from outside The hotel is located in a busy nightlife area. Despite advertised bar closing times of 2:00 AM, music and loud street noise continued well past 4:30 AM. Even with the windows closed, conversations, shouting, and music were clearly audible throughout the night due to the poor sound insulation. 3. Poor insulation and no climate control The room was located on the upper floor, directly under the roof, and became extremely hot at night. There is no air conditioning, only synthetic bedding, which made the heat unbearable. Opening the window was not an option due to the noise levels outside. 4. No on-site staff during night hours Between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM, there is no staff presence in the hotel. If any issue arises during that time, there is no support or assistance available. ⸻ In summary: This hotel may be located conveniently in the city center, but for anyone who values rest, sleep quality, or basic comfort, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The combination of poor bedding, extreme heat, noise, and lack of staff presence created one of the worst sleep experiences I’ve ever had. ⭐ 1 out of 5 stars — purely for location.
