A total hidden gem. High-quality regional food and a very nice atmosphere. We actually ended up ordering two starters because the first one was just too delicious to stop there. The lamb shoulder was amazing and you can tell they focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The owners are lovely and made us feel right at home. Definitely worth a visit if you’re on the island!

We had a delicious lamb meal in a lnicely decorated restaurant in the town centre. The only downside was that the menu and service were only available in Dutch.

This restaurant is owned by a couple, the husband cooks while the wife takes care of the guests. We were lucky to get a table on a very busy weekend. Their specialty is lamb, which Texel is well known for. It does have that typical gamey taste, but very well prepared. They don’t serve beef, we ordered a lamb shoulder and a lamb steak. The shoulder was incredibly tender, though the steak had a milder taste that was easier for a non-lamb fan like me. A little disappointed with the dessert menu, but it’s understandable with only one chef running the kitchen. Overall, we left satisfied.

Very, very good food! Friendly owner(s). Really enjoyed our diner and time here. Definitely a "will come back".
