Terrace in the sun, with a view of the old church. Attentive staff. Local beer on tap. Excellent fries, fresh cut, coarse salt, great mayonnaise. Croque madame with fabulous béchamel and brioche bread. Simple but all delicious!

Last eaten here on a Monday night. Nice, cozy restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. It was nice inside and we could sit down right away. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered a beef burger, incredibly tasty burger. Good taste of the meat and not too dominant a sauce. Chose the ricotta cheesecake for dessert. Again incredibly tasty. This restaurant will be on our top list!

Well what else can I say. Quite simply one of my new favourites. The lamb burger was THAT good I ordered a second one as soon as I’d finished the first. It is THE best burger I have had. Being into my sport and fitness good food is important and in my opinion this was a delight. My fiancé had the vegetable risotto of which she enjoyed immensely. The cheesecake with lemon sorbet was equally delicious. Highly recommend. Sorry we didn’t leave a tip, we truly had no cash on us. Will be back for sure. Great food, lovely staff, and a great atmosphere. You’ll not be disappointed.

Good service, good food, quirky ambience. A very good option for an informal lunch or coffee in Texel. Tried the lamb cuts and it was soft and in decent quantity, just lacked a bit of seasoning. Bread plate as starter was very tasty but I felt the flavour of the garlic paste in my mouth for the whole afternoon.

Sorry, but I was greatly disappointed. Dirty tables. Sticky food and hairs. Even when asked to clean them they just forget it. Even my two sons disliked the hot dog, even though they usually are not very picky when it comes to hot dogs. Staff was average and on top the weekly garbage collection was done, so you can imagine the nice smell that was casted over my lunch. So cannot recommend this place at this moment. Will swing by another time to see if was just this instance.
