Honestly, best pancakes of my life. Quality ingredients, and great execution. We both tried the Texel inspired pancakes and the local liquors/beers. A perfect first evening on Texel 🥲❤️

A super five star rating and the highlight of my almost yearly visit to Texel. The place itself looks absolutely amazing, for the interior alone it is worth a visit. But...it only got better, each and every member of staff was welcoming, friendly and helpfull it made us feel welcome and comfortable. The pancakes...I must admit untill yesterday as being a Belgian chef my expectations entering a pancake place are mostly very low... but this place really put me in my place and I need to review that judgement. The pancakes my family tried were all just stunning. They were perfectly cooked...the cheese had a crunch to it, but like just enough to not damage the cheese flavor itself. The toppings were plentyfull but not just that...they were plentyfull but also just in perfect balance with quantity and quality. Honestly I think this is one of, if not the best pancake restaurant in the world. If you visit Texel this must be on your restaurant list...300% satisfaction guarantee 🔥

We stopped here for lunch after a morning out and were not disappointed. The specialty of this location is the traditonal Dutch pancake, or "pannenkoeken." This family-friendly restaurant was suitable for five adults, a child, and a toddler since they offer a regular and a children's menu. I was even delighted to hear from our server that all pannenkoeken can be made gluten-free upon request. We sat outdoors so the children could play on the structure while we waited for the food and I noticed that it was also a dog-friendly patio, too. My ham and cheese pancake was excellent providing the best first time experience. The gorgeous repurposed old farm house is a superb restaurant that I would visit again if on the island. I recommend it for any visitors looking for something scrumptious.

Once again, a truly wonderful evening in this establishment, featuring a beautiful, old, rustic farmhouse atmosphere set in a lovely environment. The staff are absolutely outstanding-extremely attentive and always focused on making guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The food is excellent. I can wholeheartedly recommend the barbecue pancake, which I enjoyed that evening.

Very nice location, the pancakes were good but not amazing. The service was unattentive at first, just no eye that we wanted to order, took all quite long while it wasn’t busy. The kids liked it
