Havenzicht Texel

We stopped here to have lunch. The view of the restaurant was great and had nice atmosphere. The owner was surprisingly friendly and the lunch was nice! Price was okay (most of lunch options under 20) Will visit here again if we are coming back to texel :)

Having a lunch here, although the food portion was a bit small, the taste of the pork and the lambs are nice. The manager are friendly and polite suggesting the recommended food to us.

We had booked and shown to our table. Menu stated clearly that if you have allergies the chef will ensure you can enjoy your meal. But when we let them know one guest could not eat garlic they said sorry every single item has been pre prepared WITH garlic and there was no way at all that they could assist. We saw the chef clearly refuse to even attempt to find a solution. So we left somewhat disgruntled. So if you have any allergies in your group DON'T BOTHER BOOKING.

Sadly didn't get to eat here. Sure we arrived without a reservation but the reception was rude and unfriendly. Person was dismissive. All she needed to say was: "We are fully booked but would you like to come tomorrow night instead?" Something we gladly would have done. Not sure if we missed out but spent our money at Havenzicht accross the way which was excellent.

The service is very friendly. Their prices are rather affordable, which is good. Most spectacular of the venue is the view, hence the name "Havenzicht". Yet for a restaurant I would expect their most defining trait to be their dishes, instead.
