Restaurant RJ

The atmosphere and general ambiance at RJ's was perfect, very spacious well spaced tables making it a very comfortable and private experience. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The cheese trolley presentation was of the highest level and not to be missed, the highlight of the evening.

At almost €150 pp for 5 courses, some oysters, and some great glasses of wine this definitely wasn't cheap, but the food was very nice and the service was top notch.

Pretty nice food, wine pairing, and they have good wine collection. I would say it's a romantic restaurant for dating, or for the ones who like to enjoy the good food and good wine. But because of the location is near the dune, family with children or with pet could also be there for dinner or lunch or just a drink, I won't say it's a place for this group because simply it just doesn't fit in as it's not really a family restaurant like many in De Koog. In general it's a nice experience and I would choose off season time to visit again so no children or dog around.

Wow. Cannot describe it otherwise. Some of us are not great eaters, and still could not stop even after we were completely full! Amazing food, amazing service, just an absolutely amazing experience!

The lunch card was limited, no soup, no French fries to go with the salade. The salade was good, but the wait from an hour a bit long…
