We can only confirm the positive experiences of our predecessors. Our room was fantastic. The location next to the church was absolutely quiet, and the breakfast every morning was incredible. Texel is easily accessible by bike in all directions and the cycle paths make it superb to explore. Thank you to our hosts for the wonderful stay.

Booked for a midweek stay in June. A welcoming reception with a drink. We were given the room at the front on the top floor. Everything was very neat, clean, and well-maintained. The private bathroom with toilet is very spacious and equipped with everything you need. From hotel slippers to bathrobes, towels, shower gel, and shampoo. They even have towels available to take to the beach. There is a TV, a coffee capsule machine (incl. capsules), and a kettle (incl. tea and accessories), etc. You name it, and they have it. The breakfast is well-catered, and there are small daily surprises for variety. In short, absolutely perfect, thanks in part to the dedication of the hostess and host. A note for people with mobility issues: there are quite a few steps, so do not choose the top floor.

We stayed in the studio chalet from April 27 to May 2. The chalet is fully equipped. It was so nice to have welcome drinks in the fridge, and because we arrived on King's Day, there were also two orange cream puffs; how nice is that. The breakfast is delicious. Very extensive and made with love. Everything was top-notch. On top of that, the island of Texel is also fantastic, where we have been coming with great pleasure for years. Went here in may 2021. Was a great first weekend away with my girlfriend. Hosts very hospitable. Breakfast was amazing. Fantastic room. Would like to go there again.

Birgit and Jan are fantastic hosts ... their great strength is to be present but stay in the background. Their hospitality is also outstanding. The breakfast is fantastic and the rooms tip-top maintained. We have felt very very comfortable. Thank you very much!
