The most adorable B&B with the kindest hosts! The rooms are so nice and modern but the house is authentic. The breakfast was also amazing!

Stayed here for 3 nights. It looks exactly how it is presented on the pictures. Lovely space, nice outside area, quite a few modern touches, welcoming hosts, very good breakfast (of the European/continental kind) and very reasonable in price. The island itself is gentile and quiet and this place was a good reflection of the island. Deffo recommend it and may well book to stay again in future.

Break-aways, though intended for rest, can easily become consumers of head space as you plan for, possibly stress about, and ponder over your upcoming trip. However, Theo and Anna's kindness and thoughtfulness ensured that my mother and I truly had a relaxing stay. They value comfort and this means that they put in a lot of effort to make you as a guest feel at ease and to ensure that you don't need to spend needless energy on things they can easily take care of. You see this in the rooms, where you have everything you could possibly need (and even extra towels in the foyer - a touch I often miss in other establishments). The shower is reason enough to stay over. The breakfast is just so delicious and the whole atmosphere screams: "come, rest, enjoy." Anna and Theo also value a more personal approach to hospitality and that was definitely a major contributing factor to what was a very enjoyable stay. Theo's love for Texel will help you fall in love with the island (not that much help is needed) and this, together with Anna's peaceful presence really is all you need to make BnB De Oude Schuur a must-visit.

If you’re tired of the noise and hustle of the city, then hotel B&B De Oude Skuur is a perfect place to relax, unwind in peace, and enjoy the incredible beauty of nature. The rooms are very cozy and spotlessly clean, the garden is full of beautiful flowers, and the breakfasts are incredibly delicious and varied — a real delight🔥 Theo and Anna are very attentive and kind, always ready to help with anything. We were extremely happy with our stay — highly recommended! 10 out of 10 ✅

Lovely hosts and comfy rooms, the location is perfect for a calm holiday. Great gluten free breakfast and delicious yoghurt!
