Great hotel. Nice employees. Very good food. The bathroom is a bit small and lacks a shelf for shampoo (2025: now one is installed) etc. Great location to explore Texel.

My favorite hotel on the island. There a variety of room options. Larger suite , larger rooms with balcony (I love the larger room in the annex ‘Polderhuis’) . Very comfortable beds, great products, Nespresso and tea in room, AC (for the Netherlands that is not a given and for these rooms it works very well). Great breakfast buffet with option to eat outdoors and the Brasserie restaurant also has delicious lunch and dinner options or any time day or evening a drink .

Looking for a hotel on the picturesque island of Texel? This is the place to stay. We were their guests now 5 times and not one day (or Euro) to regret. The staff is always friendly and offers a helping hand, large breakfast buffet, always fresh food, also the kitchen and waiter staff is always friendly and literally goes the extra mile for you, the meal portions are very good, the rooms are cozy and very clean, also very good beds, good A/C unit, they make us come back again and again and again... We really don't understand why they only have 3 hotel stars? Would recommend it anytime. The parking spots are indeed limited, but they are working on an expansion as we speak. Saw it yesterday. And besides, Den Burg is small and you reach free parking spots with a 5 minute walk. When planning your stay early enough, you can also reserve a parking spot directly at the hotel.
