Eetcafé de Rog

There were four of us. They had some tables for two but they refused to join them for us. Imagine! They sent us away! Luckily we managed to have a very nice dinner just next door. Never coming back to Eetcafe de Rog. They are not interested in customers and doing business

Food is great, lovely sea food or meat. Also, the sharing starter dish is a recommendation.

Eetcafe de Rog is located in the village of cocksdorp on the island of Texel. The serve traditional extremely tasty (lekker) food at inexpensive prices. We had lunch there today afternoon and ate Broodje Pikante Kip (chicken sandwich), Brooke De Rog (cheese and ham sandwich) and toasty ham and cheese. For desert Dame Blanche and Homemade Brownie with Ice Cream. Everything was delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful too. After having an excellent experience on lunch we reserved a table for dinner tonight. This review will be updated after dinner tonight 😋. Highly recommended and must try food on the island.

Lovely local pub with tasty dutch grub. Lovely prompt service, staff speak English. Nice variety of food with some specialties and Asian dishes, too. Really enjoyed it twice! Thank you

Delicious food from fresh ingredients. Cozy place and friendly staff. We ordered fish and stake with a salad. It came with Dutch side dishes which was amazing and new. Recommend this place.
