My wife and I had lamb skewers. The portion was small for the price, but incredibly delicious 😋, as were the fries with mayonnaise, which you can order again free of charge. Unfortunately, the salad was served without dressing, and there was no vinegar or oil on the tables. For me, dressing is essential, so I'm deducting one star for the food. The playground detracts from the ambiance; the noise level isn't very pleasant.
overrated
Despite it being a weekday in the "low season," we luckily made a reservation at this restaurant a few hours before we wanted to have dinner. And a good thing too, because the restaurant (located in a large holiday park) filled up very quickly. Despite this, the table service was excellent and very fast. It's great that there are still places where you're truly appreciated as a guest. However, the service was so fast and accurate (the starter was on the table within 5 minutes, the main course served less than 5 minutes after ordering the starter) that we finished our visit to this restaurant within the hour, satisfied and finished. Of course, anything is better than waiting an hour for a dish, but a little more time would probably have allowed us to order a nice drink in between. All in all, compliments on the excellent service (they kept a close eye on everything and it was also remarkable how quickly tables were cleared and cleaned, creating an inviting atmosphere for new guests). The food was also very tasty, reasonably priced, and especially the abundance of vegetables and a generous bowl of salad were a pleasant surprise. Perhaps not a place you would just stumble upon, but considering the limited other dining options in the vicinity, it is definitely worth a visit.
Absolute over priced garbage food. Barely worthy of a good canteen. Avoid like the plague and book somewhere else early!
We arrived around 8:15 pm, as we were staying at a nearby hotel and were running late. Five or six young employees were standing around, but no one seemed to feel responsible for seating us. Then a young man from behind the bar came and told us we could sit wherever we liked. Since there were five of us, they could have pushed two empty tables together, but instead, they told us we could just slide a chair to the head of the table for four. Then the server came and took our drink order. I had to order the beer I'd already ordered from another server. Then nothing again. People were joking and laughing at the bar, but no one seemed to be in charge of our table. In any case, we never saw the server who had taken our drinks again. Then, by chance, a friendly server walked by and took pity on us. We ordered our food, and it was served fairly quickly. Oh yes, and then my beer arrived... after I had to ask again. The food was good. The spaghetti Bolognese, which needed three extra salts, tasted good. My tournedos, which I ordered rare, were served medium but tasted good, and the pepper sauce was also good. I had ordered the meat with fried potatoes, but it was served on a bed of vegetables with fries. It was a shame the vegetables were cold. My wife had a bowl, which was okay. The chicken nuggets with fries were also good. When the friendly waitress asked at the end if everything had been enjoyable, I listed everything that wasn't so good, but it seemed like she'd never been given any feedback before. Unfortunately, this restaurant lacks a head waiter who can lead his team. But apparently, it's enough for the target audience in the bungalow town.
